The Registration of Computer Programs with INPI, especially aims to prove the creation date and the author of the creation so the right can be exercised.

The registration process is formal and Idéiativa works with the proposal of providing the customers with the convenience during the procedure, because it works from beginning to end informing about every activity and actions taken that may be performed for the validity of the registration.

Currently, the source-code of the software can be presented in recordings in digital media, therefore making the registration process faster and more economic.

As follows there are a few important instructions for the software registration procedure:

• Technical documentation, regarding Computer Program Registration Requests, can be delivered through electronic means, optical media, non-rewritable CD or DVD format.
• Files should not be protected, by password or any other mean, against copy, print or any other use.
• Each copy should be presented in a proper regular plastic Box for CDs, that assures the integrity of the media.
• The format used in every file should be portable Document Format, PDF.
